Nature does not apologize for the way a pearl forms. Over time, layer by luminous layer, a freshwater mussel creates something the world has never seen before—and will never create in exactly the same way again. That is what you are holding when you hold one of these.

These are not the pearls your grandmother kept in a velvet box for special occasions. These are cultured freshwater baroque pearls—organic in shape, luminous in color, and wrapped by hand in Sweet Pea’s Signature Wrap design. The asymmetry is intentional. The imperfection is the point. Because the woman who wears these is not trying to fit a mold. She has already outgrown it.

Each pair is available in lavender, peach, or cream and finished with your choice of 14k yellow gold-filled or sterling silver ear wires. Every pearl is hand-selected by me for its natural glow and distinctive character. Every wrap is created by hand in my North Carolina studio.
